The Montreal EE group was started in the fall of 2009 after a trip to the EEroadshow in Seattle Washington. I was really inspired by the roadhsows’s organizer and all of the people in the EE community. What made this conference really great was to finally meet people who I had only spoken to online or devs who’s addons have made my life easier and share ideas and a few drinks with them.

The actual idea for the site was something that had been brewing since the first day I started working with ExpressionEngine. And once I got back from the EEroadshow and talking to a few friends,  the idea of starting the montreal ee group was pretty much solidified.

The goals

The goals are very simple we want to help develop a strong community of EE developers & users in the Montreal area and its surrounding and have fun while doing it. we plan on starting with casual meet ups to get to know each other to then move to a more traditional meet up group dynamic, if you have any suggestions we’d love to hear from you.
